The year 2017 has given us some exceptional cars. One of the leading automaker companies of the country, Maruti Suzuki has already launched three new models – the all-new Dzire, the compact crossover Ignis, and the Baleno RS. The customers have gladly accepted all these models with much laurels and appreciation. But, Maruti Suzuki isn’t done just yet. It is yet to launch some more new models in the year 2017. Below is the list of some of the Maruti models which will launch ahead in 2017.

  • Maruti Suzuki Jimny – This SUV, is expected to release between July 2017 to September 2017. The price of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be between Rs 5.50 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.

The vehicle gets powered by a 1.0-litre BoosterJet motor engine that will be accompanied with variable valve timing so as to ensure excellent performance and a great fuel economy.

The maximum output power of the vehicle engine is 85PS, and the peak torque it can attain is 200Nm.
The AllGrip pro wheel drive system and the ladder-on-frame chassis will provide better off-roading capability. The petrol engine vehicle will be incorporated with an MPFI (multi point fuel injection) system. It can provide a peak mileage of 15kms per litre on the highways whereas the 1.3-litre diesel engine variant of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny is expected to give a maximum mileage of 22kmpl. In terms of acceleration, it’s most likely that both variants of the SUV will be coming with the 5-speed manual gearbox option.

  • Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Diesel - This mini diesel hatchback is expected to release between October 2017 to December 2017. The price of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Diesel is likely to exist between Rs 4.20 lakh to Rs 5.30 lakh. It is believed that the vehicle will be powered by a 1.0 litre, three cylinders, 800 cc displacement in-line TCIC engine providing a power output of 57 bhp, peak torque of 150 Nm, and an excellent mileage of 25.44 kmpl.

The Grand i10, Chevrolet Beat are believed to be the biggest competitors of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Diesel. The automaker also plans a major overhaul in the engine department of the diesel vehicle. The sloping roof of the vehicle will provide better dynamics. Blue-tinted headlamps, excellent graphics, V character, and many other similar features are sure to make Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Diesel a great choice to buy.

  • Maruti Suzuki Vitara – Already unveiled in Paris in the year 2014, this Maruti Suzuki variant most probably will be launched in India around October to December 2017 with a price of 15 lakhs.

The diesel version will have a 1.6L turbocharged engine while the petrol version will sport a peppy 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 89bhp via a five-speed manual transmission system. With a 198mm of ground clearance, the SUV comes with a high bonnet, gigantic rectangular front grille, body matching tailgate, and swept back headlamps. It is likely to be made available in six colour variants namely Phoenix red pearl, clear beige metallic, silky silver metallic, pearl white, nocturnal blue metallic, and bluish black pearl.

  • Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift - This variant from Maruti will be the facelift version of S-cross and is expected to release between October 2017 to December 2017. The price of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will be between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will have some exciting new exterior features like newly designed front bumpers, daytime running lights, new tail lamps in the rear and new radiator grille. In the interior, new seats and upholstery promise to give riders a better comfort. It will have a 1598 cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine that can deliver 119ps and 320Nm torque. The diesel variant will have 1248 cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine with a capability of producing 89ps at 4000 rpm. The petrol variant is likely to equip a 6-speed manual transmission whereas; diesel variant would come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
