Learning Driving License

A valid Driving License is a legal requirement for driving a motor vehicle in India. Driver's license is issued by the competent authority of any State/Union territory and is valid throughout the Indian Union.

Anyone who wishes to drive a motor vehicle must first obtain a learner's license to learn how to drive. This is a temporary licence valid for up to 6 months only. After that, one needs to clear a driving test to obtain a permanent license.
