A single private a/c room means you can take a single private a/c room of 1st category available in the hospital. Let's say the hospital has 3 room categories in single private rooms: deluxe, super deluxe and suite, then the deluxe room is allowed, and there is no limit for it.
Yes, it covers all medicines and tests which are related to hospitalisation. Any medicine or tests related to the disease for which you have been hospitalised covers pre-hospitalisation of 30 days and post-hospitalisation of 60 days. All claims related to medicines, doctor fees and lab tests before 30 days and after 60 days of hospitalisation can be claimed.
No, you cannot add new family members during the policy year.
