The list of all the purchased LIC policies is displayed. You can only change the address for in-force and paid-up policies one at a time. Select a policy to change the LIC policy address and click on the ‘Proceed’ button for OTP validation.

Verify the OTP received on your registered mobile number on the next screen.

After successful validation, provide new address details and other information on the required field. Upload the self-attested scanned image of the preferred address proof document. Check all the boxes, and click ‘Submit’.

Reconfirm the LIC address change request by checking the three boxes. Remember, all the LIC communication will be sent to the new address. Click on the ‘Submit’ button. You will receive a confirmation message of your successful request for an address change in LIC policy.

The Service Request Confirmation letter can be downloaded from the ‘Download PDF’ option.
Your LIC address change will be updated in the 3 working days. You can also track the Request Status online.
LIC Address Change Process Offline
Follow the given steps to change the address in the LIC policy offline.
- Draft a letter informing LIC about the LIC policy address change request. The application should include the policy number and the reason for the address change.
- Submit the letter to the nearest LIC branch with the address proof, identity proof, and a photocopy of the policy.
- The LIC officials verify the evidence and accept the letter.

Important Points to Note
