Transfer of Ownership at Arunachal Pradesh RTO

One can apply for transfer of ownership in the following scenarios in AR RTO

• In the case of the vehicle owner's death, the successor can apply for ownership transfer within 3 months of the death. 
• If you want to sell your vehicle or want to purchase the vehicle, you need to apply for an ownership transfer process to the authorities at AR RTO.
• If the vehicle is purchased from an auction, the transfer of ownership is processed within 30 days.

The registration certificate of a vehicle is valid for 15 years from the date of issue. You need to renew the registration certificate within 60 days from the expiry.
