Types of Vehicle Registration at RTO Mysore:

RTOs are formed with the responsibility to ensure the smooth functioning of transport-related activities within a city. We know that vehicle registration is one of the primary functions of Mysore RTO. Per the Motor Vehicle Act of 1988, all vehicles must be registered at the respective RTO office in the city. Mysore RTO offices issue the following two types of vehicle registration.

  • Temporary Registration: While an individual purchases a vehicle in Mysore, the Mysore RTO issues a Temporary Registration for a one-month validity.
